1st Abnnual Cherry Festival

We are going to have the 1st annual Cherry Festival on Sunday July 24 from 12-4pm at the fruit stand. Come out and try your luck at cherry pit spitting or the cherry pit pal toss. Guess the number of fresh cherries it takes to make a jar of dried cherries. Have an orchard tour and building tours. Come and see the changes that we have done at 2931 Hwy 3. The coffee will be on.

Memberships

It's getting late in the season. We will still except memberships but if your renewing you wont get the same tree. Due to me having to remove the name plates from trees.

The cherries are starting to ripen.  Hopefully the warm days will speed them up.

We will no longer be sending out memberships cards because it's getting too close to picking time. Instead we will send an email of confirmation.

Picking times

It's time to book your picking times. We are starting 29th. The deadline for 2011 memberships is July 1st.

New Fruit Stand

We are renovating a fruit stand on Highway 3.  We are hoping to be open by July 1, 2011.  We purchased the Chocolate Orchard and it will become the new home for Cherrybrook Farms Fruit stand.  Local is our objective.   We would love to hear from you if you have local product that we could sell for you.

Spring?

They call it spring, but it is still snowing in the mountains.  There is a very cold wind today.  The buds are trying to wake up, but they still need warmth.

Pruning is almost done.

We are almost finished pruning and now mulching the limbs.  The birds are out, so spring must be here
